Using OnlyBadminton
OnlyBadminton is a digital service for recording and analysing player statistics, scoring, rankings, and related community and match-coordination features. These Terms apply to the website and app, including profiles, challenges, teams, tournaments, messages, live viewing, and optional purchases. Use of these tools does not transfer responsibility for real-world sports activities to OnlyBadminton. By using the service, you agree to these Terms; if you cannot agree, do not use it. On-Court Activities & Independent Responsibility
OnlyBadminton supplies digital statistics, scoring, and coordination tools. It does not physically supervise matches, inspect courts, provide medical care, or control the actions of players, spectators, coaches, officials, venue owners, or independent organisers. Participants and organisers are responsible for on-court and off-court activities connected with their games, including injuries, accidents, collisions, unsafe play, misconduct, fights, damage, theft, travel, and venue arrangements. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, OnlyBadminton is not responsible for losses arising from those independent real-world activities. This does not exclude any liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Your Account
Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for actions taken through your account. Do not impersonate others or share credentials to bypass restrictions. If you are not old enough to agree independently under applicable law, obtain the required parent or guardian permission.
Location, Verification & Accurate Records
Provide honest profile, location, score, review, and eligibility information. Do not spoof GPS, falsify age/identity documents, impersonate another player, manipulate ratings/rewards, or submit invented matches. Technical location checks, one-active-match restrictions, and verification badges assist record integrity but do not guarantee authenticity or safety. Administrators may correct records or restrict access following abuse or disputes.
Fair Play & Community Conduct
Treat other players respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, spam, manipulate results, falsify identity or location, exploit bugs, or interfere with the service. Submit scores and reviews honestly. Administrators may review disputes and restrict accounts or features where necessary to protect the community.
Challenges, Matches & Tournaments
Players and independent organisers are responsible for arranging attendance, agreeing venue/time and rules, obtaining bookings or permissions, checking eligibility, organising officials and equipment, and handling any real-world event fees, prizes, cancellation, or venue issues. In-app brackets, scoring, umpire mode, and administrator dispute decisions are digital record-management tools and are not certification of an event or physical supervision. Organiser-specific terms apply where clearly communicated. Rankings, rewards, and statistics depend on submitted records and may change after corrections. OnlyBadminton does not guarantee attendance, venue availability, fairness of another person’s conduct, or the accuracy of every submitted result.
Physical Activity & Safety
Participate voluntarily and assess your own health, ability, equipment, playing surface, weather, venue conditions, and personal safety. Obtain appropriate medical advice where needed and arrange appropriate insurance if you require it. Stop playing if conditions are unsafe; seek local emergency assistance for injury or danger rather than relying on the app. Parents and guardians are responsible for appropriate supervision of minors. Location readiness and identity/age badges are technical checks, not safety inspections, emergency services, medical clearance, or guarantees of a safe participant or venue.
Your Content & Broadcasts
You retain the rights you hold in your submitted content and grant OnlyBadminton permission to store, process, and display it as required for the features you use. Obtain the necessary permissions from everyone you photograph or record, from parents/guardians where required, and from venue/event owners. Do not upload identity documents to public chat, unlawful content, another person’s private information, or copyrighted material you cannot share. When supported recording is enabled, Cloudflare-hosted video may be uploaded to the app-owned YouTube channel and the Cloudflare copy deleted after successful archival; a failed archive can delay deletion. YouTube availability and its privacy setting affect who can view a recording. Report recording or content concerns to support.
Pro, Virtual Items & Purchases
Purchase benefits, duration, prices, currency, taxes, and availability are shown at checkout and can vary by region/platform. Fixed-period monthly or yearly purchases last for their stated period; recurring subscriptions renew under the checkout/store terms until cancelled. Cancel through the platform used to purchase. Refunds remain subject to applicable law and platform rules; these Terms do not remove mandatory refund rights. Coins, gems, cosmetic items, rewards, and gifts are account-based in-service benefits with no cash-redemption value. Gifting consumes the stated owned quantity, and equipment/auto-equip settings may replace a cosmetic already equipped. Items can be disabled, removed from sale, or time-limited; an item’s shop availability is separate from existing ownership. No virtual reward guarantees real-world income, a prize, or a sporting outcome.
Service Availability
We may update features, correct errors, perform maintenance, or change availability. Network interruptions and deployments can affect live scoring, streaming, or stored progress. Do not rely on the service as the sole official record where an independent record is required. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or any particular sporting outcome.
Third-Party Services & Statistics
Payment stores, advertising providers, geocoding, video hosting, embedded media, and other third-party services have their own terms and availability. Your use of those services remains subject to their requirements. Statistics, graphs, ranks, skill ratings, and opponent reviews reflect available app records and are informational measures, not a professional assessment, official federation ranking, medical advice, or a guarantee of ability. Keep independent records where an official result is required.
Access Restrictions & Ending Use
We may restrict access in response to misuse, security concerns, or violations of these Terms. You can stop using the service at any time and request account deletion through support@onlybadminton.com. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions; cancel recurring purchases through the relevant platform.
Responsibility & Applicable Rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, OnlyBadminton is not responsible for independent players’ or organisers’ on-court conduct, attendance, injuries, disputes, venue conditions, or property loss. This allocation does not exclude responsibility for our own acts where the law prohibits exclusion, nor does it waive mandatory consumer rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited. No app disclaimer can be interpreted as overriding those rights. The service is provided as available; we do not promise uninterrupted scoring, statistical accuracy in every circumstance, or a particular sporting outcome.
